Plate 1: Teeth of D.licha, male 114 cm, Tokyo Bay |
Plate 2: Teeth of D.licha |
The upper teeth of D. licha have short cutting edges both mesial and distal. The cutting edges of the upper teeth tend to lengthen from the anterior to the posterior portion of the dentition, but all have short cutting edges. |
Plate 3: short cutting edge |
The crown surface of the upper teeth of D. licha appears rough. This is due to the presence of numerous short striations on the surface of the enamelloid, which are arranged like a reticulation. |
