I. Dalatias .II. Size
Sharks of the genus Dalatias ver.2.1.
The relationship between total length and tooth size in Dalatias licha (Bonnaterre, 1788) (Fig. 2.) was examined. Ten sharks were collected from Tokyo Bay. The jaws were separated from each shark (Fig. 3), and a single lower symphysial tooth was taken from the second row and its size was determined (Fig. 4). The measurement results are shown in Figure 1. The linear equation X = (Y-2.07)/0.107 was obtained for the measurement results. |
