We examined the relationship between the total length and the size of the symphyseal teeth of nine extant Dalatias licha sharks collected in Tokyo Bay. Using both this graph and the figure below, which shows the relationship between the position and size of Dalatias licha teeth, we can estimate the total length of many fossil Dalatias licha tooth we collected.
